Pet Heat Safety

We have a lot of ways to beat the heat, but our pets are not able to regulate their temperatures as well as we can. That’s why it’s important to always be mindful of the temperature and monitor how long your pet is exposed.

Of course, always provide plenty of clean, fresh water and a shady place to rest while outside. If you have a pet that is very active, you may need to cut their exercise short on hotter days to prevent them from overexertion.

And NEVER, EVER leave your pet in a car unattended, even with the windows cracked. It can be fatal.
